These are pretty sturdy cards and I hang them in our kitchen. I have had them for over 3 years and we still use them. I keep them in the plastic sleeves where I hang them so I suspect we’ll have them for years to come. If you play a lot of games with them, then I bet they’d show more wear.

Hope that helps.
Mary

Do you still use them? What is their longevity, in your opinion?

Could that be an option for your children?

Comment on Happy Planning Your Homeschool Year by Autumn Mikiten http://www.notbefore7.com/2017/06/03/homeschool-planner/#comment-1240 Sat, 12 May 2018 01:21:48 +0000 http://www.notbefore7.com/?p=3554#comment-1240 I so loved this. I am new to the homeschooling idea. Scared to death but cannot watch my daughter suffer any longer. I am a planner by nature. I tried to do the google calendar but I still like to have a paper backup. We use to call them a file-a-fax. I am excited and nervous as we start this new adventure. I am looking to find exactly how some of your fill out these pages and what to put where and what if I choose to do something like time 4 learning. Wish me luck!

We typically spend 10-15 minutes on M, T, and/or W for lessons from the Arrow. We read a chapter a day and discuss it a bit. That varies from 15-30 minutes depending on the book.

I do not need a test to tell me that one kid needs more practice with their spelling, one kid is flying through math at warp speed, and one kid is a delayed reader. As a homeschool mom, I’m with them all day, every day. I know their strengths and weaknesses intimately (both those measured by tests and those that aren’t). […]
